Yes that’s right. Kathie Lee Gifford has joined Hoda Kotb as the co-host of the 4th hour of the Today Show. As you know I’m a part of the recurring segment, “Guys Tell All”. In our most recent segment we welcomed Kathie Lee Gifford to the Today Show and to our surprise we were joined by Joan Rivers!!!! Yes, she crashed the party and left her mark. I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been nominated to receive a MAC Award in the category of Stand-Up Comedy. MAC is the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs. That means that I’m starting to make a name for myself in the NY Cabaret scene. At least that’s what I hope it means. The MAC Awards are on May 6th, so we’ll see what happens. Even if I don’t win, I can always be billed as “MAC Award Nominee, Rick Younger”. So when I get cast in an HBO Original Movie they can say, starring, “2008 MAC Award Nominee Rick Younger” in a cinematic tour de force, etc…

I’ve been appearing on the Today Show. I’ve been on 3 times in the last month and I’ll be back on April 9th as a part of “Guys Tell All”. “Guys Tell All” is a recurring segment on The Today Show. Curtis Stone, Brett Birrittella, Andy Caploe, and Rick Younger(that’s me), tell all and let the ladies get a brief insight into the mind of men. On Monday, February 25th I performed at the United Nations. Yep, that’s right. The United Nations where people from all over the world try to keep the peace(I don’t think there’s any others). I was there as a Humor Ambassador with Comedy Cures for the launch of The UN’s Anti-Violence Against Women Campaign.

It was very interesting trying to make people laugh when English is like their 3rd language, so I focused on the English speakers, talked slow and made funny faces for everyone else. Hopefully everyone left and went to their home country and started spreading the good news of Rick Younger and RickYounger.net

There’s always something going on in my world. Currently you can see me in National Commercials for McDonald’s, Lowe’s and Hotels.com

Check me out Monday, February 18th on the Today Show. I’ll be a part of a panel about Male/Female relationships. I guess they want my charming comedic perspective and they probably heard that I know a lot about The Ladies!!!
